Welcome to SLOA

Who We AreThe St. Louis Officials Association (SLOA) is a member based training, professional development and social organization for Football, Basketball and Volleyball Officials. By offering ongoing training, mentoring, media communication and community our membership, we provide quality officials to the St. Louis Metro Area.

What We Do SLOA Members believe that being an official requires an ongoing commitment to training, development and improvement. Some would say it is a lifetime commitment. With that, we hold regular sport specific training meetings, we offer our in-house Official Development Program (ODP) to newer officials, we provide HUDL (video) access, and a community for mentoring and idea sharing.

Come Join Us - We actively seeking and welcoming new members who wish to continue their training and want community within the sports they are officiating. We are also accepting members who are new to officiating or wish to add a sport to officiate.

Mark Probst to receive MSHSAA Distinguished Service Award

Each year, the Missouri State High School Activities Association recognizes a couple of individuals with their Distinguished Service Award.  This award recognizes an individual's service over a period of years for MSHSAA, the member schools, and the student-athletes across the state.  Last year, they recognized Don Maurer and Kevin Garner, who had retired as Assistant Executive Directors of the state association.

The MSHSAA staff and the Board of Directors, have selected Mark Probst to receive the Distinguished Service Award for this school year. He will be honored at the state basketball tournament in March.

On behalf of SLOA, we congratulate and thank Mark Probst for his years of service in helping MSHSAA, supporting SLOA, and officiating in St. Louis and throughout Missouri.

Congratulations Mark and thank you for all you have done to help improve officiating in not only the St.Louis area but also throughout the State of Missouri.
