What We DoWe at SLOA believe that football officiating is a vocation that requires on-going training and professional development. With that, we hold regular football meetings and distribute multi-media information to keep our membership sharp and up to date on all areas of Rules, Mechanics, Uniform and all other requirements to be the best officials. In addtion and for newer officials, we offer our ODP Classes to train you to become a football Official and help you get started quickly! |
What Are the Benefits of ODPThe Football ODP is an "In-season" three year program designed to develop the skills to help newer officials move up the Football Officiating ladder.
There are many other program benefits, but the bottom line is the FODP program is designed to help you achieve your officiating goals. With that, we are committed to getting you ready and helping you get games. SLOA Membership is required! There is no charge to join the ODP program, but you must register. We cannot allow any walk-ins. |
